About Us
Players must be 18+ (21+ at some sites and in some states). Gambling involves real risk of loss. If gambling is a problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Top Crypto Casinos is an independent comparison site for US players who want to gamble with cryptocurrency. We research crypto casinos and rank them so you can see how they differ on coin support, payout speed, verification rules, bonuses and licensing, before you put any money anywhere. This page explains who we write for, how we work, how we make money and where our limits are.
Why this site exists
Regulated online casinos exist in only a handful of US states, such as New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia, Connecticut, Delaware and Rhode Island. Those operators do not run on crypto. Players elsewhere, or players who prefer to use Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether, USD Coin or Dogecoin, end up at offshore sites. Information about those sites is often thin, promotional or contradictory.
We aim to fill that gap with plain, practical comparisons. We assume you already know how blackjack, slots or crash games work. We focus on the parts that are specific to crypto play: wallets, network fees, confirmation times, stablecoins, verification and where the money sits.
The legal position, stated plainly
There is no federal legalization of online casinos in the US. The crypto casinos we cover are offshore. They are typically licensed in places such as Curaçao or Anjouan, not by any US regulator. That puts them in a legal grey area for US players. We do not call them regulated for US players, and we do not claim any site is available or legal in your state.
- State laws differ, and some states are more restrictive than others. Check your own state's rules.
- Many offshore sites block certain states. Lists vary by operator and change, so read each site's terms.
- We do not advise using false details, or any workaround, to get past state blocks, identity checks, anti-money-laundering rules or sanctions screening. Using a VPN can also breach a site's terms and put your balance at risk.
- Offshore sites may not offer the player protections or self-exclusion tools that state-regulated operators must provide.
- Gambling winnings and crypto gains can both be taxable in the US. This is general information only. Consult a qualified tax professional.
How we choose and rank casinos
Rankings come from research and review of publicly available information, the operators' own published terms and our editorial judgment. We have not claimed to have deposited, played or withdrawn at any site, and we do not present advertised speeds as tested results. Where a claim comes only from a casino's marketing, we treat it as advertising. Where we cannot confirm something, we say so.
These are the factors we weigh:
- Verification rules. Whether a site says it asks for identity documents, and when. "No KYC" is an operator's statement, and it can change. Sites may still request checks for large withdrawals, suspicious activity or compliance reasons.
- Coin support. Which major coins and stablecoins are accepted, and how network fees and confirmation times apply.
- Payout speed and limits. What a site advertises for withdrawals and what limits it sets.
- Game range. Slots, live dealer tables, crash, dice, plinko and in-house originals, plus any provably fair features.
- Bonus terms. The headline offer, plus wagering, time limits, eligibility and caps.
- Licensing and security. The licence a site states, and features such as two-factor authentication.
- Support and responsible gambling tools.
Our editorial ratings are our own scores. They are not customer-review scores.
How we earn money, and what that does not influence
Top Crypto Casinos may earn a commission if you sign up at a casino through our links. That is how the site is funded. Commission does not buy position. Commercial relationships do not decide rankings, and we do not accept payment to change a rating. Even so, you should know the incentive exists, so weigh our picks with that in mind.
What you will find on the site
Our ranked lists currently include BetPanda, CoinCasino, Cryptorino, Blockbet, BC Game, Winna, Thrill, Hyperlucky, Cybet and Wild.io. Each is shown with its advertised headline offer. Treat every offer as marketing until you have read the full terms. Bonus figures only mean something alongside wagering requirements, time limits and eligibility, so check these on the casino's own page before depositing.
| What we cover | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Coins and stablecoins | Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC let you hold dollar-value balances, which reduces price swings while you play. They do not remove the risk of losing bets. |
| Network fees and confirmations | On-chain deposits and withdrawals cost fees and take time to confirm, depending on the coin and network congestion. |
| Verification | Affects privacy, withdrawal limits and how much you can rely on a "no KYC" claim. |
| Game types | Slots, live dealer, crash, dice, plinko and originals differ in volatility and fairness checks. |
| Sportsbooks and extras | Many of these sites also run sports betting and loyalty or VIP programs, which carry their own terms. |
Risks we keep in view
Crypto adds a second layer of risk. The coin you deposit can change in dollar value between deposit and withdrawal, whether or not you win. Transactions on a blockchain generally cannot be reversed, so a wrong address or a failed site can mean lost funds. Pseudonymous is not the same as anonymous: public blockchains keep a permanent record.
No casino, coin or strategy guarantees winnings. Gambling is not a way to earn income or solve money problems. Only play with money you can afford to lose, and never chase losses. Our responsible gambling page covers limits, warning signs and where to get help. The national helpline is 1-800-GAMBLER.
